SR-mjöl hf is accredited according to the COCERAL GTP programme. Information on the Coceral European Code of Good Trading Practice can be found on the website www.coceral.com .

A comprehensive HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) quality assurance scheme is operated by all the eight Icelandic plants which are marketing their production through SR-mjöl.

Six of the eight plants have been independently accredited according to FEMAS (Feed Materials Assurance Scheme). The other two plants are both in the process of accreditation.  

All of the plants have their own on-site laboratory and these are equipped to enable complete control of production.

Traceability of our products is ensured by the use of a specially designed production book-keeping programme. This enables us to track individual shipments back to the waters in which the fish was caught.
